The Singapore Grand Prix has finished.
After an exciting race in the hot and humid climate of Singapore, Carlos Sainz got his 2nd win, his first "smooth operation" in Ferrari, ending Red Bull driver Max Verstappen's series of 10 consecutive wins. British McLaren driver Lando Norris takes his third second place of the season, after fighting hard against Mercedes drivers, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, to keep it. Due to hitting the wall with the right front of his car in the last lap George Russel lost a place on the podium and Lewis Hamilton can now celebrate his 196th Grand Prix podium.
Max Verstappen defied all limits, having struggled with his car and shifting all weekend, going from starting outside the top ten, up to place two and dropping down to place 15 due to a necessary pit stop, and still got a 5th place, right behind Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc. The rookie driver, Liam Lawson, the same one who outqualified Verstappen, brought home his first points in place 9, leaving a big impression on everyone.
Overall this race was an edge-of-seat exciting one to watch and we look forward to next weeks Japanese Grand Prix.
