Due to heavy wind and rain the third qualifying session in Brazil was ended with a red flag, five minutes before its official end.

Because of that instance, Max Verstappen claimed another pole, followed by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and both Aston Martin drivers, Lance Stroll on 3rd and Fernando Alonso on 4th.

Both Mercedes drivers are next, Lewis Hamilton on 5th and George Russell on 6th, followed by Lando Norris on place 7, who placed first with an incredible time of 1:10:021 in Q2.

Carlos Sainz placed only on 8th, after slipping from the track due to rain. The same happened to McLaren’s Oscar Piastri, who could not even get a lap time and placed 10th, right after Sergio Perez on 9th.

Out in Q2 were Nico Hulkenberg (11), Esteban Ocon (12), Pierre Gasly (13), Kevin Magnussen (14) and Alex Albon (15), after a lot of position battles, also between those five.

Out in Q1 were Yuki Tsunoda (16), Daniel Ricciardo (17), Valtteri Bottas (18), Logan Sargeant (19) and Zhou Guanyu (20).

All of the drivers delivered incredible times, although facing hard weather conditions.

With the Aston Martin’s at the top, the race on Sunday is surely going to be very exciting and maybe even ASTONishing.
